Blissfully Ignorant

Alright, so i've finally felt the urge to write again. I go through times where i don't really want to string 2 sentences together let alone write something in here. But a little while ago I saw something on a bottle of pop I knew I'd eventually have to write something about it which in turn would cause me to write about related topics. What did I see on it you ask? Well I was examining my 1L bottle of Dr. Pepper when I noticed a little warning label on it. I thought this odd just because I'd never seen a warning on a bottle of pop before, but do you know what it said? "CAUTION! Contents under pressure". Now...don't get me wrong here but isn't pop GENERALLY carbonated, and doesn't that USUALLY mean that it's pressurized if it's not open? But I guess some people need to be reminded by a little warning label. Now this brings me to the subject of coffee cups having "CAUTION! Contents may be hot" written on them. See there's a story about this stemming from some lady in the states sueing and winning against McDonalds because she spilled her coffee on herself and got burned. I have no idea as to whether or not this story is valid but it DOES point out how stupid some people can be. Did you not know that the coffee would be hot? Isn't coffee generally served hot? Did you ask for it to be cold? And really...these labels are useless. Honestly who would look at a cup to see if it "could" be hot. Those are just there to cover the company's rear. Really, if you're going to complain that you burned yourself with your coffee or somehow injured yourself with a pressurized bottle of pop...well, you deserve what you get for being so ignorant.

The Forum

As you know, I've created a forum that every viewer here is welcome to join. I have decided to make the forum section "Daily Happenings" a blog-related section, so that we can have all the blogs in a centralized location, without having to go to each and every person's blog site.

Anyways, I think that the forum is a good idea, and if you think that abandoning your old blog site is a bad idea, be it because of leaving your viewers in the dust or whatever, you can always link to it in your profile signature (see HappyD), or create a blog on your main site that invites your viewers.

The more the merrier.

Circadian Rhythm

If you know what the title means, then you'll understand what I mean when I say mine's messed up. Not that I wouldn't be able to change it back fairly rapidly, but staying up until 4 or 4:30 in the morning every day does kind of mess with biological timing.

On that note, I can actually stay up simply because I don't have school (or work, for that matter, which is regretable) anymore, which obviously frees up any time schedule I would wish to have.

However, I don't like waking up in the afternoon. It always feels like you're missing the day, even though you're staying up the same number of hours. That's why I'm going to change it back to where it's supposed to be if you're a normal person (who doesn't work a night shift).

Forumation

so what's this? A forum made for anyone who has a blog, Xanga, Livejournal, Space, etc. Or even if you don't, it's still an online community that you could join for whatever reason you want. Landon created it and it's still rather new so there's tons of room for improvement, but it can only improve if people join up so go here

Rejection

Oh, but of course Matt approaches somebody else, but when it comes to me, he badgers for reasons why I want to be a contributor before he even contemplates letting me on. Not only that, but he refuses to tell me who this mystery person is. I learned from investigation a name: Allison. But other than that I really know nothing about them.

Sometimes Matt can be so childish and difficult...

Oh well, "time reveals all things", so I guess all I have to do is wait...

Reveille

Greetings and salutations, blog viewers.

This is my debut here on the blog. You may have seen me commenting here and there in particular posts. I am Landon, and although I should get a more interesting signature, I am now a contributor. The trio is now complete.

Although I have my own personal blog, I have left it abandoned for quite some time, and it didn't have much of a reader base anyways. This blog is fresh start, or "awakening" if you will, for me in that it is one in which I can write daily events, rather than the essays detailing several months that my last blog was comprised of.

As you can see, I have my own distinct writing style; One that involves such phenomena called "punctuation", "capitalization", and "grammar", which were otherwise unheard of before. Hopefully it brings some variety into the blog that includes something other than Matt's steady blog entries of moral dilemmas and Errol's sporadic updates on the idiocy of mankind.

Anyways, since this is simpy my introductory post, I'll wrap it up. The real posts should follow with some semblance of regularity, although I won't promise anything.

Newbies

well i've done it again...i've added a couple new people here. One approached me and i approached the other. Figured it was time for some new blood here to liven it up some more seeing as i don't post all that much. Go easy on them, they're new to blogging and one just wants my viewer base.
