Looped again

Hope you're all ready for some more random ramblings again because here they come back in full force. So we didn't get the house, turns out that when we got it inspected that there were some things that needing fixing or immediate attention that could have costed us A LOT of money (particularity the oil dumping spot that the previous owner had dug a hole for and it was unknown how long oil had been dumped there that environmental charges for it to be properly cleaned up could have been astronomical) so we either wanted 15G taken off the price f the house or we'd just go somewhere else. I'm at the library yet again...This time I'm here with a backpack FULL of alcohol...Not really all mine, but man it's flipping heavy. That brings me to another point, I've decided that the best "swear" you could use is flip. Why? Just because it sounds funny. Or snap, that one is a good one too, honestly I don't swear all that much, at least I try not to and manage to do a rather good job of it. To the point that my coworkers think that I never do just because they've never heard it. Actually at work we just found a mouse the other day, I named it Winston for no real reason other than I wanted to. It's been there a couple days now and I'd only seen it on Wednesday when I proceeded to chase the thing around the warehouse. Buggery those things are fast, I almost had it we the person a was working with came to get my help up at cash and I'd lost it. Haven't seen it since, but we've put out live traps to ty and catch it, although I think with the amount that that mouse got chased around that day I'd not be surprised if it took the first chance it had to get out of there. Oddly some of the people I work with are terrified of it, I think it's strange how an adult can be afraid of a tiny little mouse that really, if you think about it, can't do anything to you that would actually harm you. You're what?...A few hundred times bigger than it at least, sure if you're stupid and pick it up it COULD bite you but I like to believe that people are not that stupid (mostly). Although there always are a few people that really go against the majority, for instance...This lady came into work yesterday when I was eating in the back and walked into the warehouse. She then asks me if this is the cooler and where is the beer. NOT only was it CLEARLY a warehouse and there is no beer contained within it but there are rather large signs on the doors saying "employees only" on them. I found out after she left that she had also gone up to the other person I was working with and asked if we had any beer at all in the store, this is made worse by the fact that she was standing right infront of the coolers door...That's all glass, and has a wall of windows into it as well.certainly some people really are front he shallow end of the gene pool. On another note my dog is able to walk again, albeit with a really bad limp. She'd had a slipped disc just over a couple weeks ago and was temporarily paralyzed in her rear legs, she still can't jump or really go up or down stairs but she's improving quite rapidly. Wow so I turned 19 on Monday, it's really no different from being 18 with the exception that I'm legal across Canada although that makes no real difference because ilive in Alberta, and I don't drink all that much anyways, though you should ignore my comment about the backpack full of alcohol and the fact that I have an entire blog devoted to alcohol as well...atleast I don't over-indulge all the time. Well gotta run now, have a play to get to. Hope you enjoyed this episode. Tune in next week when Matt discusses flying monkies and how they benefit society.

Moving day

May 7th...well not exactly, that's the day we get possession of our new house but not nesscessarily when we're going to be moving into it. It's been an interesting experience trying to find a home that we liked and that was in our price range. Sure if we moved into the city it would've made the house we bought A LOT cheaper but that wasn't really an option for us seeing as livng in the park was much more convienient and not that far of a move for us. $ of us are moving in together and i don't know which of us will feel the most out of place...me for being the youngest, my sister for being the only girl, or my brother's friend because the rest of us are family. It's a pretty decent house though, has some good features in it, a fireplace and a bar in the basement for example. It also doesn't need to many repairs but still needs some renovations to make it our home. it even has enough parking for all 5 of the vehicles we'll need to put there. The next few weeks will be interesting at least...well maybe they will be.

The secret

What makes you tick? what runs through your head every day that marks you as you? what you'd do and how you'd do it? What thoughts guide your life? What do you choose to do? here's what mine is...make sense of it if you will.

go for a run
sing like no one can hear you
dance like no one can see
talk to an elderly person
wave to a young child
lie down in the grass
go cloud watching
buy colorful balloons
drink grape juice
use your imagination
listen to happy music
skip down the halls
hold a conversation with someone you care about
cheer someone up
help someone in need
hold open the door
say thank you
be kind to the cashier
hug your mom
laugh at stupid jokes
be understanding to the needs of others
don't hold a grudge
forgive and forget
call someone you haven't seen in a while
remember fond thoughts
play in the rain
take a hike
start a bird feeder
plant a tree
grow a garden
play in the mud
build a sand castle
go berry picking
build a big house
go frog catching
put up wind chimes
bake a cake
write a story just for you
pick up garbage
fly a kite
recycle
use a composter
read a poem
paint a picture (even if your not good)
clean your room
play board games
feed ducks
blow bubbles
go on a trip
watch cartoons
play with kittens

This doesn't really have to make sense for you, it does for me and that's what really matters.

The thing about censorship

You know what the beauty of this site is...I control everything on it. From content to appearances, and I even can control the comments on it if I wish. And while I don't really care what people write in them, I have no respect for people that will insult things I or the others here write and then not even put a name or any information at all. I find it ironic AND funny though that this "some guy (with a life)" would spend his time reading through what I write, and find time out of his, oh so busy, day to comment on here as well. And I don't about him but I manage to type pretty fast, I mean it's not like one of these posts actually takes time to write unless I want it to. Another point here too, how can you {being the "some guy (with a life)"} imply that I have no life when many of my posts are a reflection of things I've done while going about my days...Doing things...Having a "life". Bugger off, this is my site and as long as you keep posting anonymously, I'll keep changing them...For good measure here I'll call you a prick just to get my point across because name calling can and will do that.

It's all one big loop

I warn you now that this blog is just one of my ramblings. Basically a stream of thought, not really going anywhere but giving you a play by play of all things that are running through my head.

Sometimes i get this uncontrolable urge to have some juice, unfortunately in my household juice doesn't last very long just because my dad drinks it in the night and presto! no juice by morning, so all i've found is a can of Diet Dr. Pepper. most people would balk at the sight of a diet pop, but really they aren't as bad as people say they are once you get used to them. Kinda makes me think of people that go on those weird diets though...South beach....Atkins...soup diet...these are all terrible ways to lose weight, if you really think about it logically there's no way cutting an entire food group out of your diet can be in any way healthy. really the healthiest way to eat is to just follow the canada food guide. And really, you can't just lose weight by eating differently you need to get out, be active. That brings to mind one thing i really miss, and that's rugby. It was such a fun sport and i mean i COULD play now but i'd have to join a league and then proceed to get my rear end handed to me on some sort of gold encrusted platter. Just because i'm so much more inexperienced then all the other players in my age group. That and i don't have the time to commit to it, and i'll have even less if i manage to hook on to a temp summer job that'll give me long hours to work for more money. Ok i've kinda been going back to this and have already dragged it out to long and lost my train of thought. I'll end now...
