Looped again
Hope you're all ready for some more random ramblings again because here they come back in full force. So we didn't get the house, turns out that when we got it inspected that there were some things that needing fixing or immediate attention that could have costed us A LOT of money (particularity the oil dumping spot that the previous owner had dug a hole for and it was unknown how long oil had been dumped there that environmental charges for it to be properly cleaned up could have been astronomical) so we either wanted 15G taken off the price f the house or we'd just go somewhere else. I'm at the library yet again...This time I'm here with a backpack FULL of alcohol...Not really all mine, but man it's flipping heavy. That brings me to another point, I've decided that the best "swear" you could use is flip. Why? Just because it sounds funny. Or snap, that one is a good one too, honestly I don't swear all that much, at least I try not to and manage to do a rather good job of it. To the point that my coworkers think that I never do just because they've never heard it. Actually at work we just found a mouse the other day, I named it Winston for no real reason other than I wanted to. It's been there a couple days now and I'd only seen it on Wednesday when I proceeded to chase the thing around the warehouse. Buggery those things are fast, I almost had it we the person a was working with came to get my help up at cash and I'd lost it. Haven't seen it since, but we've put out live traps to ty and catch it, although I think with the amount that that mouse got chased around that day I'd not be surprised if it took the first chance it had to get out of there. Oddly some of the people I work with are terrified of it, I think it's strange how an adult can be afraid of a tiny little mouse that really, if you think about it, can't do anything to you that would actually harm you. You're what?...A few hundred times bigger than it at least, sure if you're stupid and pick it up it COULD bite you but I like to believe that people are not that stupid (mostly). Although there always are a few people that really go against the majority, for instance...This lady came into work yesterday when I was eating in the back and walked into the warehouse. She then asks me if this is the cooler and where is the beer. NOT only was it CLEARLY a warehouse and there is no beer contained within it but there are rather large signs on the doors saying "employees only" on them. I found out after she left that she had also gone up to the other person I was working with and asked if we had any beer at all in the store, this is made worse by the fact that she was standing right infront of the coolers door...That's all glass, and has a wall of windows into it as well.certainly some people really are front he shallow end of the gene pool. On another note my dog is able to walk again, albeit with a really bad limp. She'd had a slipped disc just over a couple weeks ago and was temporarily paralyzed in her rear legs, she still can't jump or really go up or down stairs but she's improving quite rapidly. Wow so I turned 19 on Monday, it's really no different from being 18 with the exception that I'm legal across Canada although that makes no real difference because ilive in Alberta, and I don't drink all that much anyways, though you should ignore my comment about the backpack full of alcohol and the fact that I have an entire blog devoted to alcohol as well...atleast I don't over-indulge all the time. Well gotta run now, have a play to get to. Hope you enjoyed this episode. Tune in next week when Matt discusses flying monkies and how they benefit society.
