One choice made
I haven't really felt like writting much lately, but now i have the urge again. This little story is actually a little bit of an odd coincedence because it happened only a couple days after i wrote the "Choises to be made" post. And while perhaps it's not EXACTLY the situation that i described it was close enough.
I work right by a Tim horton's so obviously due to my "addiction" to coffee i go there all the time before, during and after work. On this sunday i started in the after noon and had a bit of spare time before i actually had to be at work so i went into tims to get a coffee for my mom and myself. On the way out i noticed a small little girl walking around and at first i had assumed her parent was just on the other side of the vehicle so i continued on. But as i got to my mom's car and handed her her coffee i took one last look back to see where the girl was, i don't know why i did but something made me do it. That's when i noticed that she was alone, trying to get back into tims. I couldn't leave her there, so i went back there and opened the door and followed her in. I followed her after she got into tim hortons figuring that she more then anyone would know where her parents were. She walked across from one door to another and then stopped and started crying, I think at this point the people around me thought she was my younger sister or something. It was then that i asked if anyone recoginized her because i found her outside trying to get in. No one did, and she was crying louder now too, so i asked one of the people to watch her and make sure she didn't move (wasn't hard she didn't want to move at all anyways) as i went around tim hortons asking people if they had a daughter with a pink coat. Eventually (although it was pretty much the first people i asked) i got to a group of adults in the corner where one lady in response got a look of complete horror across her face and this kind of tipped me off that she was her mother. The second the girl saw her she burried herself in her mom's arms so i assumed that since the child recognized her and went to her that i didn't really need to make sure she was the mother. And although i was sickened that a mom could let her young child out of her sight like that, i couldn't bring myself to say anything about it, i just walked away.
