Hair Nazi

Yes so i finally gave in to the inevitable and got a hair cut the other day...not so bad you would think right? Everyone gets a haircut at one time or another, but you see the guy that used to cut my hair retired about 4 years ago. So for the past 4 years i've been in a limbo of going to different places and getting my hair cut (this had a major role in why i let my hair grow long...that way i didn't have toget it cut as often) and for the past 4 years i've yet to have a good haircut (cept at the place that my mom goes but i found it creepy that the person cutting my hair knew so much about me) but this last one really really just did me in for bad hair cuts, i mean sure...with long hair if i got a bad one i'd just have to wait a couple weeks and you couldn't tell the difference. This time though there was a big difference, before my hair was still relatively long after it was cut but now it isn't. i can't quite say it's short because it isn't entirely. I guess what it really looks like is what i like to call a reverse mullet, it's short in the back (very short...well atleast it's short for me) and long on the sides and front. AND!! to top it off one side of my hair is about an inch shorter then the other. I really really should have refused to pay for this cut and made them fix it but i just wanted to leave. Why didn't i say something while it was being cut you ask...perhaps i would've if i had been able to see what she was doing while she was cutting it, but she started on the back of my head where i don't really see that often (it being the back of my head and all). So now i get to wait a couple weeks for it to grow before i can get it fixed, damn i'm glad i have touques. In the mean time i have come up with several guidelines for he person that i will choose to cut my hair...

1. The person MUST be around 30 years old or older. This is to ensure that they have the experience nesscessary to not screw up my hair.

2. They HAVE to be able to speak english properly and be able to understand that half an inch doesn't mean go crazy with the scissors. (the person that stabbed me in the neck with the scissors still haunts me to this day)

3. They have to be talkative, sure it's partly my responsability that i tel them what i want, but it's their responsability to make sure they understand what i'm saying (there's no way i could completely explain what i want done with my hair without seeming like an ass if they don't meet me part way with the explanation, plus something that i may use to describe hair may look different in my mind than in theirs)

4. THey have to have some sort of education in hairstyling. (simple enough)

Those are my rules, i will no longer every deviate from them, i'm sick of bad hair cuts and i don't like short hair. It's not even bloody even in the back!!!!!!
