Choices to be made
you know...there are certain situation that I wonder what others would do. Sorta tough questions that make you wonder...some people would have no doubt in their mind as to what their reaction would be but then some would also be indecisive. Here are some of the things that go through my head...i'll let you decide.
You're a server at a restaurant and a woman that possibly is pregnant orders an alcoholic drink. You're not required by law to refuse service and there is the possibility that she may not actually be pregnent. What do you do?
You're walking down the street, you hear a commotion in a store that you just so happen to be in front of. A man runs out carrying a large carton of cirgarettes. He's heading right towards you and there's no one else around besides the clerk. The cigarettes are obviously stolen...do you try to stop him?
You see a child walking with what appears to be their parent and you had seen them enter the store a little while before. Suddenly the child starts yelling and stating that this isn't their parent. There's a chance that the child could be telling the truth, as well as a chance that the child is merely misbehaving. What would YOU do?
You're standing in a park with few people around and you see a man walking with his wife/girlfriend. They're argueing and the man hits her. You could walk away and pretend you saw nothing...but would you?
In all of these situations i like to think that i'd do what i view as "right" even if it could offend someone greatly or possibly get me in trouble if i got involved. but then i've never been there, and never had to make the choice.
